Dobyns-Bennett is coming off of a historic season, compiling a 32-6 record and winning the 4-A TSSAA State Championship. This was the school’s 2nd in the history and first in 77 years. They return their dynamic “splashcourt” with Jonavan Gillespie and Brady Stump, each serving as a major scoring option for D-B last season. Keep your eyes open for the ‘new kid on the block,’ 6’5” PG transfer Dante Oliver. He is a thrill and hopes to raise the expectations for upcoming season. The Indians also look to get major production from 6’7” post player, Eli Day, rising junior Charlie McHugh, and a host of young talent. Could the Indians make another run for the title?

Morgantown High has been playing basketball since 1914. Last season, the Mohigans won their 2nd State Championship in the school's history. The first championship was won in 2016 in Coach Tallman's 2nd year as the head coach. This year the Mohigans return major championship contributors in Sharron Young, Brody Davis, Cam Danser, and Koma Neal. They added D2 Powerhouse West Liberty commit Garrison Kisner to their roster as well as Izzy Everett, J. Shrewsberry, Brady Savage, Jacob King, Marty Johnson, and others. The Mohigans hope to make another deep run this season in West Virginia class AAAA.
